Ingredients
UTENSILS
12-inch skillet
8 quart kettle
colander
2 quart shallow rectangular baking dish
Noodles
2 8 oz. boxes lasagna (12 unbroken noodles)
4 qts water
1 Tbs. oil
1 Tbs. salt
Sauce
1 lb Italian sweet sausages
1 lb lean ground chuck
3 Tbs. olive oil
1 (2-lb, 3oz.) can whole, peeled, Italian plum tomatoes
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 small bay leaf
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (8 oz.) container of Ricotta cheese
1/2 cup (4 oz. chunk) grated Parmesan cheese
1 (8oz.) package Mozzarella (if you buy mozzarella in chunk form, slice it as thinly and evenly as you can.)
